Who may
use this site?
This site is intended for use by High School wrestling
teams. However, we plan on enhancing the site in the
near future for use by various other types of wrestling team
(youth, college, free-style, etc)

Do I need a MatStats.com
user ID to view data?
No, anyone with access to the internet may view data on
our site through our public pages. You only need a Matstats.com
user id if you intend to become a team owner or if you will
be doing data entry for an existing team.

What does it cost to
use this site?
You may view data stored on this site free of
charge. If you will be managing or inputting team
data, you must register as an administrator for a one-time
fee of $1. Once registered, you may apply for
administrative access to an existing team (free), or
you may become a team owner by creating a new team. Only team 'owners' are billed for
team subscriptions. Owners are billed per team based on
how many wrestler records each owned team contains. In
any event, the first 30 days are free for every team
created. The fee schedule is as follows:

Yes! We use PayPal Inc ,one
of the world's most respected, successful, and secure
online payment processing companies, to handle all of our
credit card transactions.. In fact, MatStats.com
doesn't record or store your credit card or
personal information (other than your name and email
address) anywhere in our database. Paypal
handles your transaction and credits our account.

subjected to Adware, Spyware, or Banner Ads?
No! 100 % of the funds needed to run MatStats.com are
user fee-based. We will never share any
personal information without your knowledge and consent.
We will never download "Adware", "Spyware",
or any other disruptive or damaging data to any computer. We also will refrain from
using banner ads on any of your public pages.

Who can view my team's stats
and results?
Your team and wrestler match results, along with
Won/Loss/Pin records can be viewed by anyone who visits MatStats.com.
More detailed and sensitive stats and "blow by
blow" match accounts can be viewed by people to whom have
been granted access by the way of a team
"privileged view code". The team
"owner" has full
control over who has this pass code and may change the
code at any time.

What stats does MatStats.com
allow me to track?
You can track and display all team meet and tournament
results, including team and individual placings.
Individual wrestler stats include: Wins, Losses, Major
Decisions, Tech Falls, Pins (for and against), Takedowns
(for and against), Escapes (for and against),
Near-falls (for and against), Reversals (for and against),
and Warning Points (for and against). You may
track as much or as little of the available statistics as
you would like. Stats may be entered manually into a
web-based form, or you can use Match-Track, which was
specifically designed to provide a
"point-and-click" method to quickly record match
details and stats.

Can I maintain my
teams stats over multiple seasons?
YES! You may keep team stats from season to
season, thus giving your visitors a true career snapshot of
each or your wrestlers. You may even enter previous
season results. Just keep in mind that your
team is billed based on the total number of wrestlers you
have in the system (you may upgrade your subscription at any
time).

Can I permit others to
enter results and stats for my team?
Yes! As team "owner", you can
assign up to 2 other "data administrators" the
ability to enter and edit your team's information.
Simply have them sign up for a MatchStats.com user id
($1.00), then ask them to provide
you with their 9-digit member ID's.
Just go to your Team Detail page and click on the Add Admin
link and follow the instructions (Only the team
"owner" may perform this function).

Can I Transfer
Ownership of My Team ?
Yes! You may transfer the ownership of your team
to any person who has a MatStats.com user ID.
Simply make sure the user is listed as an administrator on
the Team Detail page (if they aren't, just add them per the
instructions above). You can then transfer team
ownership by clicking on the "Make Owner" link.

What is MatchTrack?

MatchTrack Screen Shot
MatchTrack is the webpage on this site that was
designed so that stats could be quickly and accurately
entered using a point-and-click method, rather than manual
entry into a form. This is especially useful when
entering stats from a wrestling scorebook. You simply
click a button for each event in the match. MatchTrack
will do all the arithmetic and will compile the result and
stats. Using this method also provides you with a
"blow-by-blow" account of the match.
