Lambert High would like to invite you to a camp at Lambert High School (Forsyth Co, Suwannee) Clinicians: Coach Nathan Gallick. NCAA Champ at Iowa State. Current Assistant at UTC. Plus; two of Georgia`s finest. Carson Fields and Josh Condon whom currently wrestle at UTC. The facilities are great, and we will have plenty of mats. Cost $700 for your first 14 wrestlers, $50 per after 14.$75 individuals. Schedule: Thursday and Friday 9-11 Technique 11-12 Duals (one dual) 12-12:45 Lunch (concessions available, coaches get free lunch) 12:45- 2:45 technique 2:45 5:00 Duals (one two duals) Saturday: 9-11 Technique 11-12 Lunch 12 till 4:00 ish 8 man bracketed tournament. South Forsyth High School is hosting The Wrestling Acadmey Staff Dustin Kawa and Gary Fischer. Cost will be $100 for individuals, $1,000 for a team of 15 ($50 for every wrestler over 15). Instruction will be from 9-2 each day with live wrestling from 2-4 at the end of each day. I am looking to field 6 teams so that we can have at least 2 matches per day. Concessions will be available for lunch (coaches eat free, of course). T-shirts are provided. This will be a great camp, with great instruction, at a great price. Let me know if you are interested.

Team prices are available over 10 campers. Camp is five days with a focus on simple moves chained together to make them more affective. We will break camp up into five main areas: Neutral Offense Neutral Defense Top: pins and tilts top: leg offfense and defense Bottom: scoring and defending pins Each day will drill the same moves and combinations from previous day. We will also spend lunch breaking down college level matches.

This is the summer league of the past with some added benefits. We will still wrestle on Thursdays from 6-8:30. We will put each wrestler in a group of 5-6 and they will wrestle a six minute running clock. You have a break of 15 minutes and then the wrestler is reassigned to 5-6 NEW wrestlers for another round!! This is not a DUAL!!!! Tuesdays and Wednesdays are practices with tons of live and situational wrestling from 6-8. We meet in the Eastside gym or commons area with 4-6 mats out, go through stretches, agilities, drills, and matches together. We did this with Eastside, Newton, and a few from Rockdale, Salem, and Alcovy last year and thought we would open it to other schools as well.

It is okay to have a few solid wrestlers as long as most of your line up is not solid. We will of course have a great hospitality room with food from several restaurants. USMC ALPHARETTA RAIDER RUMBLE This tournament is a great place for your wrestlers to get a lot of matches. It will have the best hospitality room you will go to all year. The coaches form last year can verify this. We will run the same format as last year Friday night we will run 4 men round robin pools. Each man will wrestle 3 matches on Friday night. On Friday`s round robins a point system will be in place to determine seeding for Saturday`s single elimination bracket. SEVEN mats friday. The top four placers earn medals, the top four teams will earn trophies, and a most outstanding wrestler both light weight (103-140) and Upper weight (145-285) awards will be presented. The purpose of this tournament is to get JV wrestlers mat experience. Each wrestler will be put into pools of 4 or 5 and wrestle 3 or 4 matches. This is intended for JV wrestlers, but can also include varsity wrestlers who are currently wrestling varsity but under most circumstances would be JV (such as injury to varsity wrestler, not having anyone else in that weight class). No seniors or previous varsity wrestlers who qualified for sectionals. Remember, the focus is to get new wrestlers experience and confidence. Kids will be put into pools according to weight class. In the case that two wrestlers from the same school end up being in the same pool, we will make adjustments as needed. Awards will be given to the first place winner in each pool.

This will be a 16 man, traditional tournament, with a 2 and out round, specifically designed to get kids extra matches. Our goal is to continue to expand and make this tournament tougher every year. The final round will be a cross-over round to determine final placement. Weigh-ins from 7-8 AM. Coaches meeting immediately following weigh-ins. Wrestling starts at 8:30. Centrally located near Augusta, GA.
